Presentation synopsis:  We will look at trends and best practices, pre and post pandemic.  We will discuss finding balance in your office, virtual, or hybrid work while also focusing on career advancement.  Our speaker will share her personal struggles and how technology helps (or not).  We look forward to hearing your challenges, successes and ideas as the definition of the "workplace" continues to evolve.

Speaker bio:  Barbara W. Covington is an Audit Manager at Carr, Riggs & Ingram in the Fort Walton Beach office.  She continues to prepare small business and select individual tax returns.  Why?  Because she really enjoys it! This year Barbara hit an AFWA milestone of 30 years as a member, since 1992.  She is also a Past National President and Past Chair of the Foundation of AFWA.  Barbara is married to the love of her life, has one daughter and 2 cute little grandsons. She's a life-long Alabama fan (Roll Tide) and has recently moved across the FL state line to Alabama.  She enjoys reading, watching football, and being with family.
